When I studied music at John Brown University, I helped the department develop a new variation of the Bachelor of Science in Music to allow students to use a project as their degree capstone, rather than just a recital.
I wrote, directed, and produced Desert Mass, a fusion of the ancient Christian liturgy with electronic music, narration, visual art, and a choir.
I loved it.
